well, my presence on DA is often on and off, more off than on lately.
i remember when i started here many many years ago, trying to get attention, competing for views, trying to understand how ps worked.
with time i got to met a lot of cool people here, and it was nice. but, eventually i drifted off. I continued drawing and painting, and learning, but DA started to be more of a chore than a cool way to get in touch with other artists and post my stuff.

nowadays i often come here from  time to time, but it seems like a desert, dominated by sonic fan art and stuff that came out of a scremo wetdream. 
i wonder if someday DA will be cool again, but probably not.

ok, DC comics  said one of their main characters was gay.
i was like "finally, gay community gaining some respect in the homophobic world of comics."

But then they said the gay character was... Alan Scott, or the fucking first green lantern. ...............

Alan Scott was the first green lantern, and most readers today  don't  even know who he is. When people think of green lantern  they think of Hal Jordan or John Stewart. never Alan Scott. So, in the end DC made the safe choice of making a hero that nobody knows gay. Bravo *claps*, good day for the gay community -not.
If you are going to make a bold change in comics make it fucking BOLD, not safe. this move was more like "Hey, here in DC we are  gay friendly,  even one of our guys  is gay, not a famous or important one, but there is one at least".
